Privacy Policy for Don’t Touch My Phone App

Don’t Touch My Phone (“the App”) is an anti-theft utility provided by Innvotech. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information, device permissions, and advertising services.

1. Information stored on your device

The App does not require an account and Innvotech does not operate a server that stores your personal information.

The following information may be stored locally in the App’s private storage:

Four-digit PIN

Security question and answer

Protection status

Vibration, flashlight, and activation-delay settings

This information is used only to provide the App’s security and recovery features. PIN and recovery information are not sent to Innvotech or advertisers.

Do not reuse a banking PIN, device PIN, password, or highly sensitive information.

2. Motion and proximity sensors

While protection is active, the App uses the accelerometer and proximity sensor to detect movement or handling.

Sensor readings are:

Processed locally and in real time

Not stored as a history

Not used to determine your location

Not transmitted to Innvotech or Google AdMob

3. Alarm features

When protection is triggered, the App may:

Play an alarm sound

Vibrate the device

Flash the device’s LED torch

The App does not record audio, take photos, record video, or access your gallery.

4. Android permissions

The App uses the following permissions:

Foreground service

FOREGROUND_SERVICE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE allow protection to continue while the App is not visible or the screen is locked.

A persistent notification is displayed while protection is active. The service stops when protection is successfully deactivated.

Notifications

POST_NOTIFICATIONS allows the App to show the active-protection notification and provide access back to the App.

You may disable notifications in Android settings, but this may make the active protection status less visible.

Vibration

VIBRATE allows the device to vibrate when the alarm is triggered.

Network state

ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE allows the App and its advertising services to check whether an internet connection is available.

It does not allow the App to read your messages, browsing history, or network communications.

5. Advertising and third-party services

Don’t touch app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

AdMob may automatically collect certain non-personal information such as:

Device information (model, OS version)

Advertising ID

Approximate usage data for ad personalization and analytics

This data is handled by Google in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

6. Data deletion

You can delete locally stored information by:

Disabling PIN protection

Clearing the App’s storage or data through Android settings

Uninstalling the App

Advertising information processed by Google is managed through Google’s privacy controls and your Android advertising settings.

7. Contact information

If you contact Innvotech by email, we may receive your email address, message, and any information you voluntarily provide. This information is used only to respond to your request or provide support.

Do not send your PIN, security answer, passwords, or financial information by email.

8. Children’s privacy

The App is a general-purpose security utility and is not specifically directed toward children under 13.

We do not knowingly request personal information from children.

9. Security

The App stores operational information in Android application storage. However, no storage system is completely secure, especially on rooted, compromised, or physically accessed devices.

Users should avoid using sensitive or reused PINs and security answers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App’s features, permissions, advertising services, or legal requirements change.
